Fly By Night

Today is the third day of the 31 Days of Halloween Challenge and Blog Hop, sponsored by Smeared Ink and the Smeared and Smudged forum!  Today is Friday, so it is a Smeared Ink day, featuring images from Smeared Ink.

To see everyone who is participating in the blog hop, follow the blog roll on the right.  If you're following the blog roll, you probably got here from Sue's blog and will want to proceed to Leslie's blog after you've stopped here!

I have a simple card today, which I've entitled Fly By Night.

The details:

  1. Cardstock—Paper Accents
  2. Kimberly General’s and Loew Cornell watercolor pencils
  3. Tree branches image--from my stash.  I've forgotten where I got this one from--I know, shame on me!
  4. Bat image--from the A Little Bit Batty rubber set from Smeared Ink
  5. Moon painted with Yasumoto Pearlescent Water Colors
  6. Tim Holtz for Ranger Distress Ink

To lead off, I offer this little scene (a 6x6 fat page) entitled Hey Kid!

  3. Vellum--unknown maker
  4. Clown parts & sentiment from Build-A-Clown set by BasicGrey (now, sadly, discontinued)

Smiling Cats with TLC

Another card for Paulette's challenge.

I was a little rushed on this one, but I did enjoy coloring those kitties!

By the way, I purchase many of my supplies, (here, the card itself, the designer paper, the watercolor pencils, the glue) from Blitsy, which has definitely become my favorite flash sale site.  I warn you, though, it can become addictive!

Music and Cats with TLC

A couple more cards for Paulette's Progressive Freebies Challenge for World Card Making Day.  Paulette blogs over at Create with TLC, and sells wonderful images at her Artfire shop.

You can see Max lurking in the background of the card at the top.  I thought it was appropriate, given the subject matter!

Coffee and Shoes with TLC

Another great image from Paulette at Create With TLC for her Progressive Freebies Challenge for World Card Making Day.  (It's the coffee grinder and cup image!)

And my effort with this one:

In the second pic there you can see one of our (many) kitties, Max.  It's a beautiful day here in NW Missouri, and he's outside enjoying the weather.

It's hard to see in these pictures, but this card has a bit of shimmer and shine, both in the shoes and in the pink/red background.

Home with TLC

I am participating in Paulette's Progressive Freebies Challenge for World Card Making Day!
So much fun!
Here is my submission for the first day.

Paulette gave us this lovely house freebie, and invited everyone to create something with it.

Thank you Paulette for this lovely image and great challenge!
